Communicating with the Other Side – Frequently Asked Questions

     I’m often asked, what happens to our loved ones after they’ve crossed over to the other side.  And how will a reading from a psychic/medium benefit my life.

     Here are some of your questions:

"How will a reading from a psychic/medium benefit my life?"

     There are many benefits.  A medium can help you have a positive experience communicating with your loved ones who have crossed over to the other side and also, help you find closure with your questions and unresolved issues.

     A reading with a psychic can give you a deeper understanding of what is transpiring around you, past, present, and future.

     A session with a psychic/medium gives you the best of both worlds and brings more accuracy to your reading.

'Are readings scary, and should I be fearful of what messages come through for me?'

     No, I find that your loved ones want you to know that they’re o.k. and that they’re still a part of your life. They don’t want to scare you, they want to help you.  Spirits can’t change your life path, but they can nudge you in the right direction. Ask for their help through your heart and mind. Trust your intuition, knowing naturally without it being explained. Your loved ones are always in your corner.

"Are you a mind reader?"

     No, I'm not.  If you have questions, don’t hesitate to ask. Mediumship takes a lot of energy.  Time is precious and there isn't much time to visit with your loved ones, ask away.

"Can you always make contact with the other side?"

     Yes, I do my best to make contact with your loves ones. They’re usually with you when you arrive for a session. Often times, you may want me to contact your Mother, and I may get your Father or some other friend or family member instead.  It’s not always the exact loved one you want. I start the session off silently with a lot of questions for the other side to spark their interest and get them to communicate with me. I get who I get.  I can’t control who is coming through once I get there, I can only ask for the one you want. More times than not, many souls come through with messages for you.

"How do you know it’s our loved one(s)?"

     Souls validate their messages by showing me the life experiences they had here with you.  These messages are often things only you would know or recognize.  It’s not about me.  I’m just a messenger, a conduit, a bridge, a way to get the messages to you.  I am always amazed, but not surprised by the messages that come through.  Again, it’s all about validation.

"Do our loved ones watch us?"

     Yes, everything from birthday parties, holidays, family celebrations, births, deaths, quiet time, when you pray or need their help. They really love visiting family once and awhile. There not really interested in what you do in the shower or bedroom.  They just want to know that you’re o.k. and that they’re with you more than you realize.

"How can I reach my loved ones on my own?"

     There are many ways to contact your loves ones who have crossed over.  Here are a few suggestions:

     Many religious belief systems have a way to make contact with the other side. You might want to check into yours.

     You can use prayer or meditation to raise your vibration and frequency to make contact with spirits.

      You can use light workers, people who specialize in this form of contact.

      You can sit in a quiet place and just talk to them as if they were in the room with you.  If you want validation, ask them for a sign.  And if you do get a sign, don’t go screaming out of the room terrified.  Remember you asked for it.  Relax, they’re letting you know they’re with you and trying to communicate.

      They love you and only want the best for you. You’re loved ones are only a thought away.  It really is that easy. You don't really need me.

"Do our pets go to the other side too?"

     Yes, I gave a gallery reading where a man had seven horses around him.  He was so happy they came through, he cried.  Pets are a part of our family and we love them.  Sometimes pets come through just to let you know they’re still with us and they’re o.k.

"Do I need to give you my personal information?"

     No, your personal information has nothing do with your reading.  I’m here to give you messages from the other side, that's my job!  I only take questions that are related to your reading.   

All readings and contact information are absolutely confidential.

 "If I come for a reading and skeptics are with me, are you still able to make contact for me?"

     Sure, I do what I do.  It really has nothing to do with whether they believe or not.  The messages still come through.  It’s just when they’re cynical, it’s not fun.

"Can I record my session with you?"

     No, video and audio taping is not allowed. I highly suggest you bring a note pad.  It’s good to go over your session.  You’ll want to read the messages that came through for you.

The number one thing you must have when having a session with a psychic/medium is, VALIDATION!, VALIDATION!, VALIDATION! is key to all readings. In other words, facts that are acceptable to you. Things that know one knows accept you and the loved one your communicating with.

     I sincerely hope these few questions helped you understand a little more about the process of Mediumship and that it’s to your advantage to seek guidance when you just have to know.
